Sore wrist? No longer necessary with the right ergonomic mouse!

Do you experience sore wrists (or other complaints) behind a screen? Not very strange, if you think about how many hours you spend typing, clicking, swiping or scrolling, not only in business but also in private life. Perhaps you have already tried all kinds of things to avoid the discomfort: adjusting your sitting position when you think about it (upright!), looking away from your screen every now and then, and things like that.

Ergonomic tools

If you know a bit more about ergonomics – because you already suffer from RSI yourself, for example – you may already be using ergonomic computer aids. Vertical mice, compact keyboards and pause software are tools that help you work behind screens in a healthy and complaint-free way. However, it is important that you use the appropriate tools. Because if you have a big hand, you need a bigger mouse. If you work with the left hand, then choose a left-handed mouse. If you can type blind, then a split keyboard is best for working with relaxed straight wrists.

Personal advantages and disadvantages

In offices and schools, ergonomic solutions are increasingly being considered for you. Many employers also want to contribute to healthy working by setting up ergonomic workstations. Unfortunately, the tools are often purchased collectively rather than individually and remain a nuisance. But once you have your perfect, healthy workplace, you naturally want the same at home. Especially if you work hybrid and alternate between the office and home. And will you then double-buy your ergonomic tools or would you rather take them with you in your bag? And will such a tall vertical mouse fit in there?

The versatile Twister

That is why it is handy that there are vertical mice that can be folded and are therefore easier to take with you. Like, for instance, the ergonomic R-Go Twister mouse, which, apart from being foldable, is also ambidextrous. That means you can use it to mouse with both your right and left hand. With an ambidextrous mouse, you can switch hands from time to time to rest one wrist and thus relieve tension. As the Twister is corded and also works via Bluetooth, this is a mouse that allows you to work ergonomically anywhere.

The right tool

When buying the right ergonomic tools, it is therefore useful to know exactly what you need. The right size, the right function, the right convenience – it is all important to find the right solution to combat complaints such as RSI. Our tip is to think about all these things first, and not just buy an ergonomic mouse. If you have any further questions, you can always contact us!
